ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Steve Gascoigne was born in Coventry in 1973. Having taken GCSE and A Level photography at school he was lucky enough to have a brief stint in photo-journalism, before working at one of the major professional photo labs in the country – Colab.
Currently (January 2017) he shoots with a Nikon D810,along with a selection of lenses from Nikon, Zeiss, Samyang and Sigma ranging from 15mm to 600mm, as well as an RRS tripod and head, Hoya Pro1 filters and Lowepro bags.
I have picked Steve Gascoigne as my photographer to respond to.
This original photo is similar to my artists as it is of the same lifeboat station and it has been taken from a similar angle.
Here are my responses:

These are the photos I have chosen to respond to
My chosen photo to describe is the lifeboat station.
We start off with a gray/white smudge at the top of the photo, slowly fading to orange as we go to the left. suddenly we encounter a dark green mass, to contrast the orange area. as we continue anti-clockwise around the photo, we see a reflection of the preciously mentioned grey smudge, with bits of orange towards the middle. Finally, cutting through the middle of the photo, there is a long line, leading up to a wood-coloured mass, with smaller lines emerging from the bottom.
The way my photo and Gascoigne's are similar are: the photos are of the same lifeboat station and taken from a similar angle. They are also both set on a beach in similar weather conditions.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Kyle began his photography career when he was still in primary school, when he apprenticed a family friend and neighbor who shot primarily weddings, senior portraits, and family sessions. Over the years, Kyle began to fall into a type of shooting all his own, taking advantage of all the beauty of what mother nature provides on this planet. He’s worked in New Zealand, Australia, Florida (USA), California (USA), Oregon (USA), and Washington (USA), taking his camera wherever he goes, and always trying to capture the essence of the landscape.
